This article is a gearing up guide for Feral Druids. It is updated for WoW 4. It first presents the best in slot items before listing, slot by slot, all the items, with a level higher thanthat you can acquire in the game.
We also explain how you will be competing for loot with other classes. The other articles of our Feral Druid guide can be accessed from the table of contents on the left. It is important to note that there are no pieces of gear that have both Agility and Dodge Rating on them. As such, you will never have Dodge Rating found innately on any of your gear, and you will always have to reforge for it. Essentially, you will want to wear the highest item level Agility leather armor available to you.
This gear will have the highest amounts of both of Stamina and Agility, making it your best option. In the event that you can further choose between several pieces, try to prioritise those that have Mastery Rating and Critical Strike Rating as secondary statistics.
In the cases that you have gear without Mastery Rating on it, simply choose to reforge one of the existing stats to Mastery Rating or Dodge Rating. When gearing up, we advise you to always prioritise pieces of Tier sets over non-set pieces of higher item level.
Regarding the loot you will get from raid or dungeon bosses, you will compete with other classes in the following cases:. Talents, Builds, and Glyphs.

Cat Form is one of the biggest reasons what makes Feral so strong. To maximize your output as Feral, even best guide won't help you. Cat Form isn't different than other specs in terms of "rotation". Making it priority based forces player to pay bigger atention to what he clicks, and when he clicks.
Savage Roar is so essential, that it's reccomended to use it even at 1 Combo Point. Rip is a strong bleed effect, prolonged with your Glyph of Bloodletting, so you have a bit more time for using your energy for something else. You should apply Rip always on 5 Combo Points. Ferocious Bite is instant damaging spell, dealing damage dependand on your Combo Points and ammount of Energy you currently have. Mangle is viable filler ONLY when you can't attack target's back or when you have to refresh your Bleed Damage debuff.
Otherwise Shred, compared to Mangle deals way higher damage, and has it's damage increased from Bleed Damage debuffs. As you can see in following screenshots, that way to DPS as Cat is very reliable, although requires lots of practice from you to execute it on at least decent level. Changed misinformation about glyph Thank you Padthai! Finally fixed some misinformation about glyphs, added one tip about AoE tanking Thanks Jenova! That's all from me at least for now.
I'd like to thank to everyone who encouraged me to write this guide, Mogromir in particular, and to Notosiup for teaching me how to play Feral for progression.
Also huge props to Padthai, for encouraging me to write Cat Section, and Polaroid for huge ammount of useful macros! If you did enjoy this guide, please answer my poll: Would you like similar guide to Feral DPS? If yes, please tell me in the coments, what should I improve next time. Also, if you have some tips or remarks, feel free to respond.
Let's make Feral great again! Btw nice guide pretty fine I did not read everything only till like Talents I will edit later.
Thanks for your opinion! Honestly, I find myself uncomfortable without Pulverize, but I definitely have to try it someday. And Primal Madness is also debatable choice, on some fights it's rather irrevelant, but I'm mainly using these talents for all fights Not only Rag HC , so that's why some choices are weird. Good initiative on the guide. Added short Cat Form Guide, as Padthai suggested. Hope it helps ppl play feral a bit better since good ferals really are pretty rare.
An example on how to make a macro's for each form could be a nice addition. I'll post some of my macro's when i get the chance. Thank you, I'll take those things into consideration. Attack Speed debuff is applied by any other tank, via Scarlet Plague from DK, Judgement of the Just from Paladin, or Warrior's Thunder Clap also if I recall correctly those talents are for other tanks neccesary in order to progress further into the tree.
Regarding Form macros, I use only one. Can't wait for your macros, I hope that with your assistance we'll be able to create helpful section, making Druid for new players feel more fluent. Yup, just thought it should be added because its presented as the 'pure bear' spec. When offtanking ragna for example its useless indeed. I've made my macros around the idea of having both bear and c at on a specific button so it's easy to switch at any time.
So apart from the bear and cat macro most of them are made to have 1 keybind for different spells depending on the form you are currently in. This way I got all important spells on a keybind without it getting really cluttered. Added troll racial and bear's Enrage to boost dps. The following macros are the '1 button 4 spells' category. There are other ways to go at this and this is in no way the perfect solution for everybody, but it should give an idea of whats possible at least.
I've got to admit, that's really impressive list, compared to mine. I'll try them someday in raiding environment. Do you mind if I use them in guide for now? Of course with huge sentence that all of this is your hard work. Feel free to do with them what you want really, it's why I posted them after all. Mess around with them, replace spells for others that make more sense together for you etc etc. That's how I ended up with my macro's in the first place.
Infected Wounds is a must for me. Most battles dont require two tanks Baleroc, Majordomo , other fights don't always allow tanks to stand near eachother Beth, Alysrazor, Shannox. Also having lacerate on every enemy gives you a ton of free mangles. Just keep pressing TAb and spam Lacerate, but Thrash and Swipe are the most important, make sure to always have enough rage to use them. Make sure to use ALL clearcasting procs on Shred. Remeber about snapshotting your bleeds. Getting the most out of Bear Absorbs - remember you don't need to always spam all skills on CD.
Glyph of Barkskin - this glyph is PvP only, so it's useless if you dont plan to play some PvP after finishing Firelands. Shameless Bump, some minor changes to the guide had been made. Looking forward for more feedback, and suggestions what should I we? This is so not worth. Better remove it from guide. After checking out, you're right, it's not worth at all. One tip for Alysrazor, you can kill birds much faster if you open on them in cat form set bleeds extend Rip with few mangles if you get some crits you can use FB as finisher but only if you know that bleed wont kill bird until you get both worms then you can help other tank to kill his bird or help with adds on side.
This can make fight much more interesting for feral. But I'm using a little bit different talent build.
I mean with free revange after charge. Of course for fights like Ragnaros, when u can't charge cd after cd it's not that good. A specially on hammer adds. About haste in hybrid. So I prefer to stay mastery hybrid feral. I'm not huge fan of ravage on hybrid. It might be decent, instant damage, but I prefer bear form to kill adds Because of mangle resets and during second transition you also have to hold Scion, which hits pretty hard on heroic.
Also on several "patchwerk" style bosses it requires from you to run away and waste 2 GCDs in order to have effect, making it actually not worth using outside of opener, because of the melee swings wasted during that time. Also recently I'd been trying mastery hybrid. It's as good as haste, and gives player higher error margin in Bear, while also increasing skill cap required for Cat While reforgin in haste it's opposite.
Higher error margin in Cat, increased skill cap for bear. Thank you very much for the contribution! Well, I'm managing my energy to run away and jump when I can't use other abilities. Sometimes just slightly, but still. That was my tactic. In case of high dmg I had always any of CD's to use. There's been one of the biggest updates since release.
Talents section had been reworked, same as Hybrid Best in Slot list. Also I'd also love to get some feedback to the poll included in the beginning of the guide. Thank you very much for everything in advance!
You will be able to leave a comment after signing in. Prev 1 2 Next Page 1 of 2. Scroll down and enjoy reading. After MoP update, i've changed few Cataclysm servers, and as it seems, i stopped here. Their guild fit for my expectations.
I've earned the officer rank soon, and after some time, the guild master had to stop playing. After a while, as it was requested, he granted me the guild ownership. I've managed to get the guild alive again, changed statut from international, to locally based, bulgarian guild. We were growing up, progressing very fast. Had Facebook page, my own TS3 Server, scheduled daily raids and much more.
We become big and popular guild, we were conquering first spots in the leaderboards, conquering with the best international pve guilds, but instead of flaming, spitting or blaming, we used the game in our advantage, when possible, top guilds combined raiding together in 25man raids.
This continued for an year and a half, may be a little more. Then I had to move on. I didnt had the time required for a guild master of top guild to be online. I barely had the time to login just to support the guild bank. Soon after that, the spring came, people started to going out more often, a lot of people stopped playing temporarily, promising they will be back at the autumn.
A lot of the members who remain active had moved to the newly released Monster WoW Legion server. I was left with only a few members active. After a thoughtful sleepless night, I decided to shut down the guild, instead of passing the guild leader to another person who might want to revive it.
I decided to keep the guild's glory for me. Not because of an ego. I was afraid someone else will fail and instead of reviving, just kill the guild, the name, the glory of the guild and our members.
I was not blamed for shutting the guild down. The few remaining players filled the bank again, well, they are rarely online, but we decided to stay with 1 char or 2, just to use the guild bank and support each other. We all have characters in other pve guilds, currently top guilds. We were welcome everywhere. I guess I did not fail after all. I took the right decision and I've kept the Leaders of Warcraft glory. It will always be there.
With this topic, I really want to thank you boys and girls, for all the time spent together, it was really amazing to be in such community, and you are the reason for the guild's former glory.
You made the guild's name known amongst the best. Roleplaying, wiping, progressing, or just sit-spamming in Stormwind, the time was always well spent. People respected me, and they all wanted to be with me, to play with me, or just talk to me.
I guess I earned that respect. Meanwhile, me and few officers were keeping guild's outer relationships, meeting the other guild masters, discussing, sharing, getting alts in each other guilds, contributing in guild banks if nesessary, scheduling combined raids and events, or aiding in such if one of the guilds lack a spot or two in their guild raid.
And personally, apart of all this, which was They knew this is my main specialty, and they knew that I can help them. For all these guys, I am writing this guide, detailing it with every information nesessary to answer all of their questions. Im not an active player anymore, but with this guide, I can still help people who like tanking, or a completely new to the tanking, and if so, after reading this guide and applying my tips, they will have a moderate technical skills in this direction.
And I really hope to see good feral tanks online. Remember, you may think tanking is boring, but you are an important part of every raid. You are the only defense force against the evil and your friends. Introduction in tanking role, importance, profile and me. The tanking itself is another thing. Using a warrior back in TBC, in the very early tryes , I started to love tanking.
A lot of you think this is boring, slow, annoying or hard to handle or other things. It is action,It is fast, it is "stuff-happening", it is a competition against one another and so on. But I looked at the other point of view. Tanks play one of the most important roles the most important, if you ask me in every raid group. Here is a full profile of the perfect tank which i sorted out and kept me busy all these years. Knowing his abilities in order to maintain high threat, and use them properly according to the occasion.
Knowing all the boss fight mechanics, and because of this, knows when and where to move, and when and how to use defensive and sometimes offensive cooldowns.
Understands the various positional requirements of especially melee DPS players and healers, and trying best positioning for minimising their movement and downtime. Having excellent reaction time in movement or placing the boss in the appropriate spot. Having excellent reaction time on taunting back targets that they lose aggro of which happens to everyone at one time or another. And having an expectation if and what can go wrong, and how to intercept it.
A great tank has the qualities of a leader, and is not shy to step up and take control of the group and push into the right direction. A tank who is able to keep fast pace, will make the raid or dungeon go extremely smoothly and quickly. Even 1 single mistake, 1 simple click, or even a blink of an eye can wipe whole raid.
Time will be lost. Raid members will be demotivated or the opposite, if you are progressing- motivated, but this is another occasion. And I value my time, i cherish it. Yes, the gameplay might look slow and boring, but that tank struggle in my head kept me interested in this role.
I watched, i learnt, I practiced, I died and released spirit, but I advanced. With everyday i got more skilled in tanking. These are pretty much the best possible and tested talents. To learn these talents ingame, simply copy and paste this: You surely can mess around with a few points. You can choose from the following talents, if you prefer them, and I will comment why I do not prefer them as my daily tanking build. Still, wasting 2 points of something which might slow some adds Except if the debuff is actually slowing the boss's attacks, which is useful, we will receive less times being hitted.
Although I cannot confirm this is working or not. Can GM confirm this please? So I am not wasting 2 points for unconfirmed talent.
Endless Carnage - This is the second talent you can play around. Only reason for playing around is that you actually you can use Pulverize much more anyway. It does have a global cooldown, and it can be used as a filler in the rotation. First of all, yes, we do use charge, but not that often. It certainly sounds good to have that haste bonus, but infact, haste is our least-wanted stat, which have almost zero impact of increasing our threat. Additional info about how diffirent stats weight for threat is added in the Advanced section.
Brutal Impact - Increasing stun duration of Bash by 0. This will not help you in any raid encounter, since all bosses are immune to stun and movement impairing effects.
Other, unmentioned talents are affecting cat's abilities, and have no benefit in Bear Form. However, if you dig in google, you can find diffirent talents for bearDPS, or Offtank talent trees, but both are useless for our server.
Bear is making too much threat to be just DPS, and our raids doesnt require the second tank. Only these 3 glyphs provide benefits for the bear. Glyph of Berserk , which increases the duration of Berserk by 10 seconds. Glyph of Maul is recommended for any encounter where there is more than one target, allowing to cleave a second target.
To compensate, however, Frenzied Regeneration no longer converts rage into health. This glyph is excelent to use in combination of 4-piece set bonus T Having a 15 sec cd or 14, doesnt look very useful tho.
It already have 30 yards range, having additional 10 yards, is unnesesary for me. This is useful indeed and can be swapped for others, tho, I dont really reccomend it. Only the first 2 Minor glyphs provide benefit to the bear. Howsoever, i include my personal choice, the glyph of Dash. Glyph of Challenging Roar , which lowers the cooldown of Challenging Roar by 30 seconds.
Glyph of Unburdened Rebirth , which removes the need for a reagent to cast Rebirth. As a Feral Druid Tank, you have three major defensive cooldowns:. It is best used pre-emptively, before you are about to take a large amount of damage or when you are on low health. If you dont know or you can not time the boss attacks use it if you drop below k HP.
This is a life-saving ability. Finally, if you are not using Glyph of Frenzied Regeneration , it also converts 10 rage per second into health, healing you for 0. With t13 4set bonus, this is raid saviour ability. I reccommend using the glyph when you have 4 set pieces. This is suittable for most of the bosses spells, due to the low cooldown.
Use it very often. The druids doesnt really have a specific rotation to maintain. It is more like prioritizing the abilities according to the current situation. Howsoever, i will write down the most common "rotation".
Faerie Fire Feral - Pull the boss with it. Apply it on every new target aswell. Enrage Bear Form - Generating extra Rage before atacking boss is really useful. You have all the needed rage to punch the boss right from the start and maintain your highest possible threat. Must be used on CD. Lacerate - Leaving damage over time effect on boss. Stacking up to 3 times. Stack it as soon as possible.
Thrash - although its an aoe ability, the bleed effect is high-threat. Fill the time between CDs on Mangle, Thrash or else with Lacerate keeping the dot or Swipe holding really good threat or Pulverize keeping up the critical buff. Use Maul when everything else is on CD. Maul has a diffirent than global cooldown.
It means you can use whatever ability you want and hit Maul on next attack. Also it is used as rage dumper. This is also a high-threat ability. Additionally if you dont forget, you can use Demoralizing Roar every 30 seconds and Enrage every 1 minute. Demoralizing Roar will help you getting less damage, and Enrage will increase your damage done every 1 minute. Use Mangle on cooldown. You can combine it with Berserk Talent ability to make Mangle hit up to 3x targets.
Use Mau l if it is glyphed. Using Maul does not affect your global cooldown. For Mangle and Maul , you will want to alternate using them on various enemies, preferring those on who your threat is lowest. Only do not forget, keep all mobs in front of you. These stats can not be reforged. Spirit is also mentioned in the same tab with the primary stats, but it is not considered as primary, because it can be obtained either from items and reforge.
They can be increased by items, reforges, gems, enchants. I will get you familiar with the druid stats weight and building the perfect druid in the Advanced section.
The feral druid bear can be played with diffirent stat weights according to the desire of the player, but i will mention the "three" most used builds, with their advantages and their disadvanages.
Having a shitload of stamina will fit to the spell bosses ingame. Also when you are in big city, people will say "wow - k hp bear".
Not very useful against spell bosses ingame. Wannabe-pro's are still using it ingame. It is most useful for tanking dungeons or small raids.
It is not useful for end-game raiding. Fit your desirable build, and the stat weights will be as follows, i am excluding hit and expertise, because they dont really work:. You will need to switch them according to the current boss encounter, in order to boost your stamina or agility dodge , or Mastery.
Choker of the Vanquished Lord. Deep Earth Spaulders - for Mastery build,. Belt of Flayed Skin. Seal of Primordial Shadow ,. Signet of Grasping Mouths ,. Emergency Descent Loop - for Mastery build. Reforge every item to Dodge for both agility and stamina build , and reforge every item which doesnt give mastery, to mastery. If 1 item gives mastery already, reforge to dodge. Haste Rating is currently still 4th on the priority list, even after 4.
It increases energy regeneration and also increases auto-attack speed. This is mainly because you don't have enough uptime to see a difference in white hits, nor does it affect your biggest damage source: Crit and Mastery both do. Crit and Mastery however, will still affect your bleeds if you got them running, so in the end it results in a lot more damage. The best way to get Hit Rating is by getting all the Hit offset pieces, followed by reforging.
Just not worth it. Sadly Blizzard screwed up on our shoulders and gave us Expertise. Last but certainly not least. Spell Penetration is probably as important as the Hit soft cap is. The soft cap on Spell Penetration is Mages can reach up to resistance and Shamans up to Most Feral Druids tend to go for the Cloak Enchant 70 and 2 gems 2x Strenght used to be kinda decent before 4. Stamina and Resilience are very important for Feral as well nowadays.
Remember Weapon DPS still gives you the biggest buff out of all stats. Not counting that one it gives us the following priority list: Spell Pen Cap 97 soft cap. After capping Spell Pen and Hit: The only thing you got to do for these stats is just wearing as much PvP gear as you can. Again, this is unless you got a PvE item that is way better.
Mages can get up to resistance, Shamans can get up to but they rarely use their resistance totem. If you still got blue sockets left after this, gem for: There are a few viable options.
Take whatever you prefer: Most Feral Druids, including me are running the Agility one. Before you reforge, make sure you have all the offset pieces with Hit on it. If you still won't make it to Hit Rating this way, you'll need to reforge some Crit Rating as well.
Just look for yourself to see which item is best to be reforged. Reforge as few Crit as possible while still reaching the soft cap. These are only the basic enchants. The profession enchants are always better: Arcanum of Vicious Agility. There's also this one: Greater Inscription of Shattered Crystal.
Requires you to be exalted with Therazane. In this case they're pretty much equal in my opinion. It's either 25 Mastery or 25 Resilience.
Mighty Agility Agility. Greater Mastery 65 Mastery. OR Mighty Strength 50 Strength. The Strength one gives more DPS, but it's mostly useful when you're actually hitting the target, while the Mastery one is useful as long as your bleeds are ticking, even if you can't reach the target at that given moment.
This one is actually way better than Dragonscale Leg Armor. That's just as far as the Agility VS. Dragonscale Leg Armor goes, but in addition you get a pretty big amount of Stamina as well. In my opinion they're pretty even, I personally prefer the on use Synapse Springs for arena. Lots of things you can use it for! Leatherworking gives you Draconic Embossment - Agility Agility.
Blacksmithing gives you 2 extra sockets: Socket Bracer and Socket Gloves. Alchemy gives you Flask of Enhancement. No more than 2. Comparable to 80 Haste. Skinning gives you Master of Anatomy 80 Crit Rating. Tailoring gives you Swordguard Embroidery Attack Power proc on cloak for 15 sec. Mining gives you Toughness Stamina.
For arena and Rated BG, Engineering should be your number one profession. To activate your Nitro Boost with a macro, the following command is needed: To activate your Shocker with a macro, the following command is needed: They all give 80 Agility bonuses. Out of those, Enchanting is probably the easiest to skill up together with Engi since you'll need a gathering proffesion for the others ones or you can buy your way up.
I left out the HC raid ones since only a small percentage of the people reading this will be able to get them. There's one with Crit as well, but Resilience should always be picked over Crit. Ruthless Gladiator's Insignia of Conquest. Ruthless Gladiator's Emblem of Tenacity. Could be a real lifesaver.
Ruthless Gladiator's Badge of Conquest. On use Agility instead of a proc. With this trinket, you can control your burst a lot better. Using this in combination with Berserk is awesome. This one is far preferable over the other above-mentioned trinkets. Same story as the Badge of Conquest, this trinket is mostly good for controlled burst. Still quite expensive, but pretty nice. The actual in game version shows that it does 5k damage, rather than I have to say the numbers I'm about to give are not tested by myself, I've never tried this trinket as I didn't find it appealing enough, so take the numbers with a grain of salt.
Crits seem to go up to k according to various sources, and it procs about once every seconds on dummies, but in PvP it will obviously proc less often because you'll have less uptime. It seems to have no IDC.
If you got the money for this trinket, you'll probably also have the money for the next one up though Unheeded Warning , and even after the nerf it's still a bit better. Mirror of Broken Images. This trinket is basically a second Barkskin for spells. Pretty amazing trinket against Casterteams, but pretty useless against melee teams. If you feel like your defense is low against casters at that moment, it's a decent trinket.
A passive Agility is awesome, and the 9. It's also pretty easy to obtain, since it's obtainable through daily Q's from Firelands. It can be bought at this NPC: After a hotfix in 4. Easy to obtain if you have some gold though, and Passive Agility is still quite good. The proc isn't all that bad now though, as it gives you AP which is still a pretty big boost to your damage.
However, it still has the same chance to proc as it had before the nerf, which is really low and usually pops on the wrong moments. This one is really good to start with if you're an Alchemist. Having trouble getting any of the other ones? Here are a few of them: The really high ammount of passive Agility and the mastery-proc makes it one hell of an impressive trinket to have. There's also a normal version of this trinket: HC Ancient Petrified Seed.
No passive Agility sadly, but Mastery instead. On the other hand, what's so nice about this trinket is, that it gives you only a 1 minute CD on on-use Agility.
With this trinket, you'll be able to put up really nice burst on command once every minute. If you get to choose, Matrix Restabilizer is much better though. Again, a really high ammount of passive Agility, which is the best stat you can have on your second trinket. Sadly the other effect of the trinket is both a proc and it gives you Haste. Those are 2 really big downsides on this trinket.
Again, if you get to choose, both trinkets mentioned above are better than this one, even the normal versions of those trinkets are. A lot of Feral Druids tend to run with an extra Resilience trinket over another.

Obtained through Honor Points, no rating requirement. When you're having the option to choose between 2 weapons it's really simple: Resilience is awesome, and making up for everything you'll get otherwise.
Trinkets can be found in the previous section: When looking at the stats-priority list for Feral Druids, you will see that Agility ends up being first, followed by Mastery and Crit. The best stat you can get with reforging is Mastery. Reforging for hit is a better option than enchanting or gemming for Hit.
This is because you can both enchant and gem for Agility while you can't reforge to Agility. In other words, when you're reforging for Hit you kinda "lose" some Mastery 2nd best stat , while if you would be enchanting or gemming for it, there's a pretty big chance you'll "lose" some Agility instead. The best stat you can get with Enchanting is Agility. You can enchant most items with Agility nowadays, but you'll have to adapt in some cases see 3.
You shouldn't worry about the hit cap anymore when you're enchanting your gear since you should be hit-capped after Reforging. Always make sure you enchant your cloak for Spell Penetration, as there is simply not a really good alternative. The best stat you can get with Gemming is Agility. Since you'll already be sitting at 70 Spell Penetration from enchanting, it's ideal to take 2 more Spell Penetration gems. The 3rd blue socket is a perfect example of this, since you could go 2 ways: Do you want 40 Agility, or do you want 20 Agility, 30 Stamina and a socket bonus of 20 Resilience?
Even me as an Agility-whore is "forced" to go for the second option here. It's just a lot better in the end. I got the T2 weapon, but it will probably not be obtainable for the bigger bunch of people reading this, so it's not in the chardev. When you get the T2 weapon however, nothing changes on how you should reforge, enchant etc.
You might also note that not every socket bonus will be taken with this chardev. With full Ruthless you can safely ignore Resilience-bonuses and gem for pure Agility. With some adjustments you will be able to use these tacts everywhere though. Also note that these are the tactics I use myself and these are only the basics. There comes a lot more to it then what I will explain. Deathknights can be a real pain.
A quick CP SR can be used if you got enough time to keep your bleeds up meanwhile. One spec might take longer than the other, but the tacts kinda remain the same. Blood is a bit different though, they'll heal a LOT if they're hitting you all the time. Therefor you need to try and kite them. Blood can be really hard and almost impossible to kill when played right. Best thing is though, they can't kill you either if you know how to kite.
Try to keep your bleeds up and a Lifebloom rolling. Boomkins are pretty easy ever since 4. Whoever has the opener should win this.
Keep your bleeds up and throw in a Maim or FB in the end to finish him off. He'll probably go and sit in Bear Form as well. He won't be able to put up any pressure in Bear Form as long as he doesn't use Berserk. Keep your bleeds up again as much as you can.
Not really anything else you can do. They're kinda hard to kill nowadays due to the shapeshift nerf at 4. A Root or Nature's Grasp can really screw you up. They're doable in most situations, however. Berserk in Bear Form is really good vs. Basically the same as Hunters, keep gaps closed as much as you can. A little bit more annoying, but nothing really changes compared to the Arcane Mage. The biggest difference is that Fire Mages will always be moving, while Arcane Mages prefer to stand still at times.
Fire Mages will have you dazed, stunned and stunned a lot more as well. But tbh, it should be no real threat to you in 1v1. Same tacts as Arcane. Probably your hardest opponent in 1v1.
SB can be used as a gap closer as well but it's prefered to be used on a Frostbolt here and there. Also, since you can no longer shapeshift out of freezes, don't just stand there and get frustrated. All you can do while frozen in 1v1 is reducing the damage you take as much as you can. Pretty much the same story as Resto Druids. Try and force him into bubble in the 30 seconds of the fight without using Berserk. If you can't, you'll have to use it. If you DO manage to bubble him, you should be able to finish him off as well after Bubble with Berserk.
Depending on the bubble you can Cyclone him in it to prevent healing, but most of the time he'll use the one that makes him immume to spells anyway. Prots are highly vulnerable to your bleeds since they usually wear low resillience. Same as Prot, but they can sometimes deal insane burst for a few seconds.
